700 - 1500 cfs
barely runnable-perfect runnable
You can easily run this river at lower levels or during no dam release. There are
plenty of features to enjoy and the Good Wave is still very much playable.
1501 - 2999 cfs
barely runnable-perfect runnable
A nice level to run the river for a first time.
3000 - 7000 cfs
med runnable-a bit pushy runnable
An excellent level for an intermediate class 3 boater. You need a solid roll.
7001 - 10000 cfs
a bit pushy runnable-high runnable
I do consider this to be a perfect range for a class 3 boater. The water is pushy
at this level. Good wave is becoming a class 3 wave at above 7000 cfs.
10001 - 13000 cfs
a bit pushy runnable-high runnable
Cutbait rapid is in the class 4 range at this flow.
13001 - 16000 cfs
a bit pushy runnable-high runnable
You must have a solid roll and solid boating skills. At this level the river is very
strong and pushy. The flow is fast moving. A swim in this range is not recommended.
16001 - 30000 cfs
barely High-extremely High
You must have solid boating skills and a solid roll to be on this river at this level.
It is still very much runnable however a swim would a bad thing.
